Nik & Julie,
We’ve now had three separate dance experiences with Nik and Julie: the Byford workshop, Bumper Day Out and Rockabilly Rules. We’ve come out of all experiences feeling we got great value for money.
With each experience Nik and Julie provide follow-up support through email tips, a DVD or online video demos from the lessons. This has meant when we forget a move, or want to improve it, we get to go back to the net, or DVD, and revise. We’ve not had this level of revision available in the past. This has meant you only have to pay to learn each move once. With other teachers we’ve had to go back a number of times to spiffy-up, or re-learn, moves we’ve forgotten.
Some people seem to feel that Nik and Julie charge more, and want money up-front. Well that maybe true …but as with everything, you get what you pay for … and we both believe with Nik and Julie we have always got more than our money’s worth. Great lessons. You’ve taken our dancing and enjoyment of rock’n’roll and rockabilly to a new level and raised the bar for dance teaching in Perth.
Thanks, Celia and Josef

Hi Nik & Julie,
Just thought I'd drop you a quick line to thank you for the fabulous Rockabilly course we attended. Being beginners and relatively new to the Rock and Roll / Rockabilly scene we found the classes to be exactly what we needed.
You're absolutely right when you say the Rock and Roll / Rockabilly crowd are a friendly group - there is always a nod of recognition, a smile or a quick peck on the cheek from the ever growing number of like minded souls we encounter at the various pubs and dances we now attend.
We're having a wonderful time and who would have really thought five weeks would have given us the confidence to tackle the dance floor with gay abandon!!
Can I say in all seriousness that we found your teaching approach to be well paced and comfortable at both a group and individual level. We were given as much or as little individual attention as we wanted and instructions were always very clear. Most important of all .....we had fun every week.
We've got a good basic grounding now and we're doing as we were told - getting out there and putting it into practice - and yes we are improving.
Thanks again - we'll be back for more. Regards,
Annette & Joe
Cheers guys,
Learnt some really cool moves and the no pressure method of your teaching made it a lot easier to learn and really enjoy. You just gotta love that Rockabilly look n style!

Nic and Julie,
I would like to thank you both personally for taking your time to try to teach 'some of us not so good dancers' - but people who want to dance for the enjoyment that we get out of it. I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes in the last few weeks but more importantly the way in which you teach these classes.
Steve and I have been in contact with other people whilst doing the 6 week course, and tonight at another class we started, we mentioned your names to a few people, and all the comments we get are 'they are really good teachers'. Steve and I both agree with the comments we have received. Keep up the good work.

Hi Nick and Julie,
Laura and I thought you did a great job of the rockabilly workshop, plus the follow up of the 6 weeks of lessons. We are always looking for extra moves and different styles of dancing and we believe that you presented and encouraged students in a relaxed and professional manner. We regard you amongst the best teachers with technique and style in Perth. We have no hesitation in recommending you for any upcoming dance lessons.
Mick & Laura
Hi Folks,
Your classes were fabulous and worth every cent. Patience and great expertise displayed by both of you and we had a really good time. The structure was terrific and the final lesson provided a lot of insights that brought the whole 6 week series together. We would highly recommend your classes to anyone and are hoping that you will run future series that we can participate in. Cheers,
Chris and Angie Farlie
With a little fear and trepidation Dave and I thought we'd "have a go" at Nick & Julie's Rockabilly classes, to see if it would give us a break from the Rock n Roll we've always done. I hoped it wouldn't "stuff up" our RnR and I certainly believed that Rockabilly is what one does if they can't RnR!!
Well, after only one lesson with Nick and Julie I stood corrected - that is to say that the discipline, style & skills taught in our Rockabilly classes gives me all that I've missed and needed in dancing! Wow! It is so much more of a workout and so much fun it's now an 'addiction' that I don't want to be cured of.

Howard and I wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to both of you for the workshop. Everybody absolutely loved it. I've had so many people telling me that you're such great teachers, you explained things well and everything was easily understood. In fact, everybody enjoyed it so much they made us do a refresher in this weeks classes, which has been great fun.

Hi Julie and Nik
Josef and I really enjoyed the workshop, in particular the second part. We're not into dancing routines and I felt it was like a "jazz" version of rock 'n' roll - take this melody and make what you can with it. Loved it!
